Cal-SOAP

Working under the direction of the California Student Aid Commission, the California Student Opportunity and Access Program (Cal-SOAP) has represented the educational community throughout the state since 1978. UCSD Extension

The mission of UC San Diego Extension is to serve the critical lifelong learning and skill development needs of individuals, organizations and the community. We do this through continuing education, certificate and degree-related programs; community initiatives that support economic and social development; and a wide array of public-service lectures, forums and special events delivered both on and off campus and through print, internet, radio and television

EducationCorps

The EducationCorps Program encourages UC San Diego students to get involved in their community by sharing their time and skills with youth. Our mission is to improve education equity in San Diego by supporting learning, promoting a college going culture, and improving attitudes towards school at underserved K-12 schools in our local community. We strive to create a community in which all children have access to the resources that they need to succeed. We believe that a strong tutor or mentor can help a child to recognize their potential, reach their goals, and break the cycle of poverty.
